healing body, heart and spirit in the kitchen

I Invite You to join me on a Journey…

Let’s explore the depths of our feelings about food and about ourselves. Let’s dive into the juiciness and the darkness.  Where will this journey take us ?  Let’s take a chance on embracing the love and the joy that can come from this kind of healing.

I envision a world where we feel connected to our bodies and our emotions, and the food we eat. We are connected in our hearts to the ancient source of our power and life, and to the world around us. It’s a world where no one is hungry. We spend quality time in the kitchen, cooking and feeding ourselves organic and nutrient dense foods.  We nourish ourselves and each other through food, connection, and love. We hold our bodies to our own standards, not those set by others. We support diversity, and lift people up when they are in pain and confusion. As a culture, our souls are yearning for this kind of healing, and everyone I know would be affected in some positive way by this change.

Through the Fire, as a blog and an upcoming book, is presented to you in service to support peoples’ desires to develop a healthier relationship with food and eating.
